China is occupying the community commerce speedup at present. However, the construction of residential area and commercial building still exist some failures and problems. There is a lack of theoretical basis and practical guidance about planning and building design. In addition, standards and norms involved this area are not clear or lacking details.This thesis focuses on problems related to the architectural facilities about community commerce. Based on the practical, economical and beautiful design idea, the author starts with various aspects: from the building scale,function,site selection,architectural space and sculpt. Probe the method and the way of design.The thesis is divided into six chapters.Chapter the introduction, briefly introduces the background of choosing the topic, purpose and significance of the study.Chapter 2 elaborates the concept of residential area and commercial building, historical development of community commerce at home and abroad and current situationChapter3 analyzes the overall layout of the commercial building, studying from the scale,function and site selection of the community commerce architecture, propose the main object and method of study. And, site selection involves the construction of model.Chapter 4 analyzes the characteristics of community architecture from the general layout,architectural space and sculpt, propose the reference index and the design principles of the community building design.Chapter 5 analog simulation of site selection and studies the typical designs for community buildingsChapter 6, the summary, summaries the whole thesis, and focuses on the evaluation of the method of study in these, and points out research directions in the future.
