The structure of BLDCM is similar to traditional DC motor, At the same time, it has the advantages of high efficiency and easily adjusting speed of AC motor. It has been widely used. Furthermore, our country has rich rare-earth resources, and manufacture of rare-earth magnet steels has already reach international standards. It has strategic significance that the competitive power of our country's mechanical and electrical products will be enhanced in international markets, if making full benefit of and giving full play to our advantages in this field, and developing rare-earth permanent-magnet motors to form a series of products of BLDCM.Microchip offers a new dsPIC30f controller family referenced dsPIC30f, which is specifically designed for the needs of digital motor control. In a single chip application, this device combines a fixed point DSP core with micro-controller peripherals. This chip is able to perform sophisticated control schemes.On the basis of the summary for the development and application of permanent magnet brushless DC motor speed-variable system, this thesis introduces a control system, which uses dsPIC30f to control the commutation and speed of BLDCM. The basic structure, operational principle and design method of this system are set forth in this thesis. The thought of hardware design and software programming is introduced as well.At last, Using Matlab/simulink software simulate the BLDCM which proved that the control system works well as it was expected.
