Along with the social economy development, the accelerating urban advancement, construction is more and more anxious. Adding-stories already become a tendency. At present, in the building adding-stories design, designing department is generally requested the independent design to the adding-stories structure, designing mostly depends on experience. This separation design method can simplify the structural design process greatly, but create the difference of the theory and the actual. It is necessary to analysis the overall structure. This article introduced the related adding-stories structure research present situation with the fundamental researches and the projects briefly. Analyzed merit and the existence question of the light-steel adding-stories projects. The paper research has certain practical significance and the reference value to the similar construction adding-stories reconstruction.This article briefly introduced the structure earthquake resistance analysis methods and the finite element theory. Analyze to office building adding-stories transformation project of the Rizhao Lanshan biochemistry product limited company with the ANSYS finite element software at the three-dimensional space finite element model.The office building of Rizhao Lanshan biochemistry product limited company is the frame structure, plans to carry on the light-steel adding-stories extension. This article firstly carried on the modality analysis and the spectrum analysis to the frame structure, the rigid portal frame and the overall construction. The modality analysis result showed that: the portal frame construction first two steps control structure biggest earthquake respond. The first mode of the rigid frame is longitudinal bending, the two to four steps is mainly for the roof vertical vibration. Considered the influence of high mode, suggested strengthen the part roof structure to guarantees the overall rigidity. The overall construction mode is decided in the original frame mode. The spectrum analysis result showed that: the adding-stories portal rigid frame the portal frame influence the construction earthquake function little. So may use the original structure's bearing potential fully according to the special details in designing, and unifies certain structure measure to guarantee the portal frame construction the security. The spectrum analysis result also indicated that: the cylinder shearing force and mast top displacement of the rigid frame located the portal frame construction crown base is bigger than located on ground directly. So suggested increase the base of cylinder shearing force of the rigid frame suitably in designing. This article also calculated the stories' shearing force of the overall adding-stories construction using the equivalent base shear method, the result confirmed the spectrum analysis result.Then, referencing the way of the damping ratio computational method of high-rise construction building adding steel tower, inferred the damping ratio formula of the overall construction adding the light steel according to the duplicate damping theory. Through analyzing the whip end effect of the light steel adding-stories structure, obtained the shear increased seismic coefficient formula of the adding-stories structure.Finally, appraised and reinforced the method according to the building structure commonly used earthquake resistance, combining Rizhao Lanshan biochemistry product limited company office building transformation project, proposed the work that this project earthquake resistance appraisal should carry on, determined the reinforcement transformation program and the measure that suits this portal frame construction adding with the portal rigid frame.
