The AC asynchronous motor controller composed by separated analog devices before has developed into analog-digital or full digital controller based on microprocessor(DSP/MCU).But the microprocessor in common use is designed for general purpose,it is sure to have certain limitations,such as the slow processing speed and the insufficient number of peripherals.In past few years,the research on realization technology of Application Specific Integrated Circuit(ASIC) for AC asynchronous motor controller has got more and more solicitude,and has become a new research direction of AC asynchronous motor controller.The content of paper is the construction of a SVPWM controller based on the NiosⅡsoft-core.Based on the basic control algorithm of SVPWM,we present a faster algorithm that is more suitable for the microprocessor.After the logic and timing analysis for the function modules of a controller in a typical asynchronous motor SVPWM control system,we describe them by VHDL hardware description language and write the corresponding drive functions.The VHDL files should be compiled,synthesized and simulated.Tools of SOPC Builder can pack these function modules together with their driver functions as user-defined components that can be visited by the NiosⅡprocessor.The user-defined components and the standard components provided by SOPC Builder are transplanted to NiosⅡsoft-core processor system.The NiosⅡsoft-core processor system established is converted into its configuration file. The user-defined SVPWM controller is established by downloading the configuration file into the FPGA hardware platform.The simulation results show that logic and timing of the components meet the requirement of system.The controller based on Nios II soft-core is superior to the traditional controller in computing speed and flexibility,because the components are portable and their function is realized by the means of hardware.
