Studies On The Design Of Nursing Unites In The Medical Building

At present, China will make the reformation of medical architecture for a prosperous and important period of time. Some large-scale hospitals in big cities are undergoing refurbishment, expansion and even reconstruction, especially in the west of china. And the nursing department is an essential component part for hospital, in which patients spend most of their time. So, the quality of its humanistic environment projects will impact curing and recovery process for patients greatly. In a word, the objective is finding a good way to create comfortable and sustainable medical environment for people, it is an emergent mission.Chinese architecture on hospitals is undergoing the reform in the three areas such as economy systems, medical science systems, and technological revolution. The design principle on basis of human needs has been a main idea. And people know the idea of humanistic environment too. Although the nursing department of our country develops fast, some problems exist in the course of construction, which needs progressing, probinginto and studying.The thesis focus on nursing department includes general department, ICU, gynecologydepartment and pediatrics department, which is based on theories of architecture, sociology, and psychology. The current situation of space environment in nursing department and the behavior of people are investigated. Then the scale, classification, position, plane arrangement form, functions, the designs of the streamline and so on of nursing department are analyzed. In line with attitude of discovering problems, analyzing problems and solving problems, using the professional theory and design method, the research is carried on into the architectural design of nursing department projects, in the hope of offering science and beneficial materials and advices for the of the nursing department.
