Study On The Optimization Design Strategy Of Public Space Of Nursing Care Facilities Based On The Behavior Of The Elderly

With the increasing problem of population aging in China,the proportion of elderly people with disability and dementia has been increasing.Therefore,the demand for caring facilities for elderly people with disability and dementia has been increasing.This type of facilities usually rely on community construction,and are small and medium-sized reconstruction buildings.In the actual use process,there are problems such as the mismatch between space supply and the needs of the elderly,and the inability of environmental quality to achieve comfort.As the most frequent daily activities of the elderly,the quality of the public space environment will seriously affect the living quality of the elderly.This paper mainly takes the public space of nursing facilities as the main research object to analyze and sort out the physical and mental characteristics and behavior patterns of disabled and demented elderly.In the paper,three nursing care facilities in xi’an city were selected for in-depth investigation.,and the status of public space in the facilities,the behavior and activity of space users,and the real-time data of physical environment factors were recorded in detail.Taking typical behaviors of the elderly as the main line of research,this paper conducts an in-depth study on the functional quality and physical environment quality of public space.At the same time,this paper compares and analyzes the general needs of the elderly for public space and the common problems in the current situation of the public space.In view of the functional quality problems existing in public space,such as unreasonable space division,cross flow lines,incomplete furniture and facilities configuration,and physical environment problems such as hot summer and cold winter,poor lighting conditions,and noise interference,this paper proposes optimization design principles from aspects of scale,layout,and environment,and puts forward optimization design strategies from aspects of functional configuration,spatial layout,furniture organization,environment construction,and component optimization,as well as physical environment such as thermal comfort improvement,lighting optimization,and noise control.In this paper,the optimization design of reconstruction is verified by combining with specific cases,and the effectiveness of the strategy is proved by software simulation,in the hope that it can provide beneficial reference and guidance for the future research on the optimization design of public space of care facilities for the aged.
