High performance digital servo system is used more and more widely in the field of high-speed and high precision movement control, which is a hotspot in current research. With the scale-up of servo system application fields, the research of long-distance control of servo system seems to be very important.A high performance digital servo system is developed according to demand of the item, and long-distance control of it is realized. Firstly, the frame of the servo system is designed based on the frame of long-distance control system, servo control system, and the demand of the item. Then, key parts are chosen and designed. Communication model and control method are also designed after analysis. Software and hardware of the system are designed and debugged, and long-distance control based on C/S model is realized. In the end, the performance of the system is tested via experiments. Main achievements and innovations are as follows:Servo control board is designed according to the functional desire of the system, DSP chip TMS320LF2407A selected as kernel processor, using rotary transformer as the location check component. The servo control board can realize location check, communication, D/A conversion and protection of the driver.Software includes DSP control software and supervision software. DSP control software actualizes information process and control arithmetic, cursory and rigor compounding arithmetic is designed and the divisional PID arithmetic is improved, so the performance of the system is improved. For the convenience of debugging, supervision software is designed, and it contains function of communication with supervision software.The uncertain factor of long-distance control is analyzed, and researches on the infection of time delay are done, and the key point of network control and its settle methods are discussed. At last, client software is designed to realize long-distance control.In the end, the integration of the system is completed, and the performance of the system is tested in two methods. The system is in use and the result indicates the design and control method are reasonable.
