The Design Stratege Of New Architecture In The Historical Area

This paper takes the design of new architectures in historical environment as its research topic, analyses the positive influences of new architectures in historical environment, and elaborates on the major problems in the creation of new architectures in historical environment of China and its main causes. Through the analysis of the all kinds of designing principles of different times, i. e., the ancient time, the modern time and post-modern time, the author reaches a conclusion of the basic principles of the design of new architectures in historical environment and the mainstream techniques in perspective of architecture forms and urban morphology.After great endeavor into the analysis of designing process of National Grand Theatre of China, as well as the XuanCheng project designed by the author himself the author put forward the thesis of the paper in the last chapters: in whatever historical environments, the design of new architectures should be adjusted to different conditions in terms of locality and time, and the act of creation should based on the premise of mutual respect. With the approaches of generalization and induction and through a detailed research into the relative design examples, the author tries to find some basic principles of architecture designs, namely how to achieve the succession and surpassing of architectural culture by means of profound comprehension of the historical and cultural architecture and its spiritual connotations.
