| In recent years,with the rise of the experience economy,as the historical commercial pedestrian blocks have inherited the local traditional architectural style,giving local residents senses of belonging and making the street with a sense of place belongingness,which are very attractive to local citizens and foreign tourists.force.Due to the particularity of historical commercial pedestrian blocks’ commercial form,people tended to space more time in outdoor spaces when travelling here,which made pedestrians more sensitive to the wind environment of the blocks.In the design context of urban historical blocks with an open state,the creation of a comfortable and safe outdoor wind environment can only be optimized and adjusted through design skills.However,the current research on the wind environment of urban historical commercial pedestrian blocks is still in its infancy with few researches and not comprehensively studied.Therefore,in this thesis,with the Jinan’s historical commercial blocks as research object,adopting methods including on-the-spot investigation,combining on-site monitoring and computer simulation,as well as in this research the qualitative and quantitative analysis were combined,to establish the evaluation criteria of the wind environment of historical commercial pedestrian blocks.Based on the evaluation criteria,the simulation analysis process of the wind environment in all wind directions was sorted out,and the relationship between the block shape correlation factor and the wind environment of the historical commercial pedestrian block was studied and analyzed,which could have a vital significance for improve the wind environment of the historical commercial pedestrian block.Firstly,by analyzing the relevant evaluation indicators and research results of the outdoor wind environment of buildings all over the world,as well as based on the actual needs of the pedestrians in Jinan’s historical commercial pedestrian blocks,overall considering on the principles including differential adaptabilities,comfort and safety,and clear evaluation,to establish the comprehensive evaluation system of wind environment for commercial pedestrian blocks with historical features.Secondly,analyzing the hourly meteorological data of Jinan to provide climatic parameters’ support for later observational research and simulation research.On the meanwhile,through the actual investigations,the problems were sorted out in Jinan’s historical commercial pedestrian blocks.The characteristics were counted and summarized,so as to obtain the characteristics of the spatial form design of the historical commercial pedestrian blocks in Jinan.Thirdly,the wind environment model in computer was corrected by the on-site measured data to ensure the accuracy of the computer simulation,and the wind environment under the influence of the above mentioned block shape correlation factors was also studied by using the method of full-year wind direction simulation.As a results,the wind environment comprehensive evaluation system would accurately and comprehensively analyze the relationships between the pedestrian height wind environment and the correlation factors of the block shape in the historical commercial pedestrian blocks in Jinan.The results showed that the wind environment insecurity index has a significant correlation with the correlation factors including street orientation,street aspect ratio and block enclosure;on the other hand,the comfort index has a significant correlation with the street aspect ratio and the correlation factor of block enclosure;the most significant conclusion is that,with the influence of complex factors including plane shape,building roof shape,square enclosure shape correlation factors,the wind environment insecurity index and comfort index still had the optimal level.Finally,proposing the process of wind environment intervention to optimize the design of historical commercial pedestrian blocks.Based on the research results of the correlation analysis in Chapter 4 in this thesis,a set of optimization design strategies for the wind environment of historical commercial pedestrian blocks in Jinan were raised.This strategy proposed the optimal design type and recommended parameter range for the block texture organization,size and space design,enclosure control and architectural design of the historical commercial pedestrian block in Jinan from the planning and layout stage and the scheme design stage,Meanwhile,the above space optimization strategies were also extended to the empirical cases,with the data improvement of wind environment insecurity index and comfort index of the simulated reconstruction case of Kuanhouli block which strongly proved that the design strategy has certain feasibility,promotion as well as application value.To sum up,this thesis mainly explored the adjustment of the block space design to the block wind environment under regional climates,also studied the relationship between the block shape correlation factors and the wind environment in Jinan.The process of wind environment intervention and optimization of the historical style commercial pedestrian block design proposed in this thesis has certain universality,while the proposed wind environment design strategy for Jinan historical style commercial pedestrian block was only based on the climate parameters of Jinan and may need further clarify.The design of the historic commercial pedestrian block provides technical support and has certain regional climate adaptability.However,the target parameters and research ideas of this study could have certain universal reference value,and this thesis would also have certain technical guiding significance for the optimization design of commercial pedestrian blocks with historical urban features in other regions. |
