With the rapid development of transportation, a new period of rapid development of the bridge come forth. Because of its simple structure and reasonable stress, the long multi-span PC continuous beam bridge is widely used. At the same time, continuous beam bridge construction method has been improved and the construction monitoring has been get widespread attention and advance. In this paper introduces the development of PC continuous beam bridge and construction monitoring at home and abroad were introduced firstly. Then supported by Hanshou YuanShui Bridge engineering, the construction technics and monitoring were studied roundly. The research work of the paper are as the following:(1)The development of PC continuous beam bridge at home and abroad is introduced briefly and the construction technics of long multi-span PC continuous beam bridge as well as the significance of construction monitoring are also summarized.(2)On the base of the construction of YuanShui Bridge, the detailed construction of the cantilever bridge is introduced and the elevation setting of the cantilever pouring construction is analyzed.(3)According to the characteristics of cantilever pouring construction, the design and the assembly of the blue berets truss as well as the construction basket are introduced.(4)Toward the prestressing force construction features of the PC continuous beam, the prestressed construction technics and related theoretical calculations are illuminated.(5)The purposes, the principles and the methods of the construction monitoring are summarized, the specific programmes of the YuanShui Bridge construction monitoring are presented, and the monitoring data are anlyzed comparatively.(6) The research results of the paper are summarized, and the existent shortages are pointedent, the ideas of improvements are also presented.
