Design and manufacture hypoid gears in modern machinery manufacturing occupies a percentage in the production of mechanical industry, especially occupies an important position in the automotive, tractors and machine tool. Along with the computer technology and manufacturing technology development ,the application of CAD/CAM technology is mature. Realizing the integration of CAD/CAM technology in China is to realize the digital manufacture hypoid gears important premise.Therefore, the hypoid gear CAD/CAM research has important significance.In this paper, facing manufacture hypoid gear contact stress analysis and some problems in the nc machining system research, we achieve a series of achievements as the following:1.Further research the hypoid gear and the meshing theory and tooth contact analysis. In-depthly analyze the hypoid gear, gear tooth surface, the mathematical model of the main parameters of 3D modeling gear, and based on this surface modeling methods proe application, create a three-dimensional model of the hypoid gears.2. In face of the hypoid gear tooth contact stress, using displacement of large static analysis , we is analyze contact stress of gear tooth surface . In order to research the lateral pressure Angle on tooth contact stress at the initial station,we do some works on the static contact finite element analysis.3. According to initial situation in the meshing position analysis, due to the particularity of contact, we can see the whole stress concentration in the tooth contact points for a range of the center. Gear tooth surface contact strengthσH=543MPa shown with ANSYS contact stress error less than 20%, its reason is due to the simulation computation error when no friction, deformation factors4. From the contact stress photo,we can see ,due to mechanical deformation, so there strictly speaking hypoid gears is not fully comply with the points contact, so,the contact area shows as a square ,and the direction of the present and not entirely by the main direction of small end to the big end,the contact area slightly to the root of the tooth.the reason caused this is there existing deformation and the meshing uneven also plays a certain effection .5. Further puts forward gears nc machining technology is an important method to solve the above problems...
