With the aircraft, helicopters and cruise missiles at low altitude penetration ability continuously enhanced, the anti-aircraft artillery shoot should be more accurate and faster. It is well-known that the efficiency of anti-aircraft artillery is based on a specific shooting mode of the fire control system. There are several shooting modes: tracking shooting mode, block hit mode, the independent shooting mode, etc.. How to select an appropriate shooting mode to achieve maximum efficiency of weapons and to improve the accuracy of weapons is still the important issue on anti-aircraft artillery fire control theory now.The article has analyzed and discussed the existing shooting mode, and given the way to solve the problems had been found currently.First of all, the current common object movement models have been summarized based on actual project background. The comparison has been given in numerical simulation, and it provides a reference to the research of different shooting modes.Secondly, the current common shooting modes are simulated including tracking shooting mode, block hit mode. When firing at a high-speed moving target in the tracking shooting mode, the solution of the hit equation within the effective firing range of artillery could exist. Because the future flight path changes fast, the shooting data from output of the solution rapidly change, and the artillerist could not quickly track and the shooting error will be much. For the high-speed target on the tracking shooting mode, a suitable firing time has not been found and the target has been out of the effective shooting range. Because there is only one firing time in the block hit mode, in the process of conversion shooting mode will cause guns mechanical shocks after the shooting, which will inevitably lose firing opportunity.Finally, the solution of multi-hit system has been proposed, which appears as the theory of double-hit system in the 1980s. Multi-hit system had been proposed in 1990's, but it is only limited to the concept of multi-hit system theory. The shooting efficiency and injure probability in the multi-hit system are researched in detail, and some simulations are given in order to provide the reference to further improve the efficiency of anti-aircraft artillery firing control system.
