Third, The Linear Motor Reciprocating Pump Control System

There are many problems of the traditional reciprocating pump, such as long driving chain, complicated structure, etc. According to the design idea of multi-linear motor driven reciprocating pump, a monitoring and control system is designed in this paper. Traditional rotary motor is substituted by linear motor in this system. This measure reduces the intermediate links when we turn rotational motion into linear motion. And in this way we can also simplify the mechanical structure and improve the system efficiency.The monitoring and control system is composed by linear wire potentiometer, flow sensor, pressure transmitter, general inverter, ADAM-4000 series industrial control modules and VB program. Real-time display, real-time data acquisition, database store, and adjust the speed of motor according to the running condition. The program has convenient and delight operation interface, it can detect the location of motor and the flow rate accurately. The data we acquisited will be stored in the data base, for control command and curve drawing. Record the data under special circumstances, then consolidate into a list. Repeated modificate the data in this list, and use it as the kownledge base of the fuzzy control. Call the experienced value of the kownledge base, control the speed of linear motors and the phase between two motors by using fizzy control algorithm. This system is aiming at coordinated control of the speed of motors and the phase between motors.According to the research, the software of the monitoring and control system is finished. Lots of experimental data is also accumulated, which lays the foundation for further research.
