The intelligent vortex flowmeter which we study on the basis of traditional vortex transducer, is the temperature and pressure compensation flow meter with HART protocol.The paper introduces firstly the working principle of vortex street flowmeter,and describes the advantages and disadvantages of the vortex flowmeter. Then explains the parts of hardware and software designs in detail, including the selection of chips with low power consumption , the circuits design of three signals in forward path, the design of double supply ,the design of display circuit, and the design of some process program, etc. Next, The basic theory of HART protocol is expounded and applied in intelligent vortex flowmeter's communication design. The hardware and software structures about the communication part are developed designs. At last, explained the low-power consumption datas and the display function using the Microcontroller.Through the theory analysis and experiment check, this system can accomplish the target better. The intelligent vortex flowmeter with temperature and pressure compensation which accords with HART protocol must have a widely applying space.
