With the development of the new power electronic devices, digital signal processors and modern control theory, the modern speed control technology has been developed. As the PMSM with light weight, small dimensions, high performance, high efficiency and energy saving, Etc. and it has been widely applied in real life, so the research of the PMSM control system has important practical significance.Firstly, This paper describes the development, characteristic and the application of the PMSM in reality. Then the SPWM technology and SVPWM technology are studied and analyzed.Secondly, the PMSM control system based on two types of the control algorithms are simulated in Matlab7.1/Simulink environment. The parameters of the two control systems in case of external interference response are analyzed. It shows that the performance of control system adopted SVPWM is better than the control system adopted SPWM, but the SPWM control system is easier to realize in software and hardware, which is suitable for the situation with less demand of the motor capability. So the SPWM control algorithm is applied in this paper.The software and hardware of an experimental system is completed in the paper. The hardware platform based on DSP is selected. The control circuit is adopted with MC56F8013EVM development board. The hardware circuit's design is centered on the drive inverter circuit, it has completed the designs of the drive circuit, inverter circuit, isolation circuit, protection circuit. This article uses IR company's IR2130 as the drive chip, and the IR2130 drives the six power electronic devices in three-phase bridge driver circuit. As the IR2130 chip with overcurrent protection, undervoltage protection, overvoltage protection and to feedback error signals to the DSP chip, so greatly reducing the complexity of the circuit and to further improve the system reliability.The SPWM algorithm is achieved by C language based on CodeWarrior integrated development environment, In order to complete the PMSM open loop control, the program is debugged combined with hardware platform...
