With the development of the power electronics technique, microprocessor technique andcontrol theories, the application of AC servo technology is more and more extensive. As a resultof its superior control performance, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor is applied more andmore in AC servo system. Therefore, studying on the design of control system for PMSM basedon DSP has important practical significance.Firstly, this thesis elaborates the background and significance of the research combined withliterature data. At the same time, the development processes about PMSM and related fields areanalyzed and the content arrangement is introduced.Secondly, the principle of vector control is expounded according to the structure andmathematical model of PMSM, especially about the rotor flux oriented control method. Theprogram on vector control system of PMSM is established combined with SVPWM.Thirdly, the digital control system based on TMS320F2812as the core controller isdesigned. There are four main parts in the hardware circuit, respectively intelligent powermodule, isolation circuit module, current detection module, position and speed on rotor detectionmodule. Similarly there are five master parts in the software programming, respectively thecalibration of data, current sampling, calculation of the position and speed on rotor, PI regulatorand algorithm flow on SVPWM.Finally, the model about the control system of PMSM is set up by using Matlab/Simulinkwith the structures of each module in detail. After the simulation of the overall system, the resulton waveforms is analyzed to verify the correctness of the design.
