Along with the fast development of power electronics, micro-computers andmodern control theory, permanent magnet synchronous motor (Permanent MagnetSynchronous Motor, PMSM) has been widely applied in motion control system ofmedium or low capacity. The PMSM has the advantages of smaller capacity, higherefficiency and greater power density over the induction motor. In this paper, thevector control system based on space vector pulse width modulate (Space VectorPulse Width Modulate, SVPWM) technology has been designed and the keytechnique is researched. The main work can be included as follows:First of all,make a brief introduction for the Structure and Features of permanentmagnet synchronous motor. According to the coordinate transformation theory andthe mathematic model of PMSM, The principle of field oriented control is proposedin this paper. The final choice id=0control method. The basic principle andimplementation technique of SVPWM are represented in detail..The result isverified the advantages of the output current waveform, the DC link voltageutilization through simulation by MATLAB.Then the software and hardware platform of digital vector control system basedon the DSP TMS320LF2407A is designed throughout this paper. Analyzed the DSPoutside circuit control circuit and sampling circuit. Software and related algorithm ofthis PMSM servo system based on DSP are accomplished. Modularized design isused for speed controller,current controller,SVPWM and so on.And a simulation study with MATLAB is showed, then use oscilloscope totesting Motor. Under different speed and load, to show the wave of current speed andtorque, it displayed good dynamic and static performance.The experimental results show that this PMSM servo system has excellent speedperformance to meet the requirements of elevator drive system.
