Vibrating screen is a kind of sieving machine,which has been developed quickly in recent twenty years.Vibration screen has been applied widely in many industries such as mining, metallurgy,petroleum,construction.These machines satisfy its technological process in producing line and working performance by its vibration characteristics. During the working process,owing to complicated bearing conditions and continuous running of long time,the equipment structure endures variable loads in oprations, so the structure failures are inevitable. Obviously, the economic effect of the production department would be improved if this kind of vibrating screen whis has high realiability, long life and high screening rates has been developed and applicated.In engineering, the traditional mode of design as follows: conceptual model of the parts formed in the designer's mind according to the function requirement, then, express the model in the form of engineering graphics,making related analysis according to experience and the relevant standards at the same time. But, along with the development of computer hardware and software technology, the design process could be accomplished by the CAD/CAE technology. Generally, Using CAD software for mechanism design, CAE software for the finite element analysis, can greatly reduce human, material and financial resources consumption, and short the design cycle. In the field of CAD/CAE,the most representative software are Pro/E and ANSYS.This Research come from 2YAC2460 Circular Vibrating Screen imported from Metso company domestically design and manufactur imported from Metso company.on the basis of vibrating screen's working principle, Have built the 3D model and engineering graphic of all the parts and assembly based on the enviroment of Pro/E, This process has completed parametric design under a single database and has greatly improved the efficiency of design.on the other hand, Using finite element analysis technology, established a reasonable finite element model of the sieve box structure of vibration screen through the ANSYS software and carried on the detailed discussions on the modeling problems; static strength analysis and dynamic analysis have been done to get the stress distribution and weak parts visually, providing a basis for improved design;analyzed the sieve box structure modal of vibration screen and obtained several step natural frequencies and the corresponding main modal type, The results show that the structure does not occur resonance under steady-state frequency;got the amplitude-frequency response curve based on harmonic analysis, analyzed the base displacement in the course of vibrating work to provide reference for the installation of vibrating screen; Meanwhile, made prediction and analysis about vibrating screen failures according to the principles and structure of the vibrating screen proving reference for routine maintenance and overhaul. the vibrating screen was made successfully in accordance with design drawings and manufacturing process requirements, and has operated safely for 5 months, reliability and efficiency have achieved the desired effect, the design results have been highly recognized by enterprise.This thesis is close to the production practice, CAD/CAE technology was applied in the design process of major screening equipment, realizing paperless design and non-pen-based analysis ,getting successful effects. This thesis provides a good method for vibrating localization design and reference value for other similar problems.
