With the economic and social development, the constructions often need be repaired, strengthened and rehabilitated for building functional changes in aging buildings,design and construction mistake in civil engineering area. It was considered to be of excellent mechanical strength and low weight, immunity to corrosion, and convenience in use. At present, the study used in Reinforced Concrete structures strengthened by CFRP mostly concentrate in the beam, plate, column and node both at home and abroad. But the study that the overall R.C frames are strengthened by CFRP sheets is relatively small. In this paper, the overall perfect-CFRP reinforced concrete frame, carried out under simulated seismic experiment was conducted to study the mechanism of its force and seismic performance. The main research contents are as follows:Based on two layers of industry workshops as project background, two R.C frame test models were designed with the scale 1:3. Then,low-cycle and repeated load was designed and completed to reach the maximum capacity of the framework and to form a body system. displacement of the framework, Strain of the steel and CFRP and the situation of cracks were recorded in this experiment. Based on the test under low-cycle and repeated loads, the curves such as load- displacement hysteresis curve, load-skeleton curve, hysteresis curves of the steel bar and CFRP are drawn out and seismic properties of the perfect R.C frame strengthen with CFRP are studied. The results show that: The carrying capacity, cracking load, yield load of the reinfroced framework are higher than the framework of non-reinforced.And, the ductility performance, hysteretic energy capacity are better than the non-reinforced framework and relatively slow degradation of stiffness.So,the concrete framework perfect reinforced by CFRP has a good seismic performance.Finally, the pilot carried out a simulation analysis by use of the finite element analysis software ANSYS. results showed that: the use of finite element method can reflect the structure of the horizonal load characteristics of the trial has played a complementary role.
