Dalian Container Port Road Transport Network Planning, Design And Research

Experiences home and abroad indicates that a good harbor traffic system and modern transportation organization is key to its survival, development and competition. In order to become a multi-function and modern international harbor, Dalian harbor needs to solve the traffic management problem.Da Yaowan Harbor District is a deepwater harbor, majoring in container transportation, so vehicles and traffic are quite important to the transportation. After rapid development, long construction and constant functions switches, traffic designing and organization is falling low. Thus traffic comes gradually pressured. Therefore, efficient traffic designing casts great significance to traffic organization, harbor production and future construction.This essay investigates the traffic of two road intersection (international road and ocean road/century road and golden harbor road) and 14 important road sections, and tests the traffic capacities, compares the actual and theatrical traffic capacity thus draws the loading capacity. On the ground of Da Yaowan features and existing problems, this essay gives some suggestions to road reconstruction and traffic management, and forecasts possible future traffic volume, and surely will become a trusted reference to future traffic networking.
