Primary energy sources (coal) play the most important part when develop national economy in our country long time, and it must have enough production volume to support the development of economy. But accidents in mine go on again and again; they alarm us to take some measures to solve the problem. The flourishing demands of energy resources and guarantee to life security have lead to sharp conflicts between economic development and safety in production. So, it is urgently needed to develop a kind of colliery-cableway with high efficiency, low energy cost, high reliability and great power of influence. Colliery-Cableway is a kind of equipment that mainly used to transport workers in mine. It is popular to mine-captains and miners because of its low costs, large transportation capability, high efficiency and wide applications. But at present, Colliery-Cableways'driving units in our country are all electro-mechanical transmission, and there are many problems on them such as lack of safety measures, bad stabilization and comfortableness, laggard control functions and so on. Based on problems of colliery-cableway present now, it has some analysis and research on transmission system of it in this paper. Mainly works are as follows:1. A summary of man-conveyance devices and theirs characteristics is done, also comparison and analysis of transmission system of colliery-cableway. Some problems of colliery-cableway's transmission system are pointed out, at the same time, solutions to them are proposed. It is decided to use closed hydraulic system as colliery-cableway's driving unit and hydraulic cylinder as its tension unit in the paper. Then the hydraulic transmission system of the colliery-cableway is designed, its features are concluded, too.2. Research on electro-proportional control of pump. Good performances of speed-regulation and explosion-protection function are most important to colliery-cableway in mine. But there isn't a kind of electro-hydraulic proportional pump presently in China and abroad. One key point of the paper is to develop a simple but applied pump with reliable performance, well explosion-protection function and can be electro-proportional controlled, based on some analysis of the condition in the mine and electro-control speed-regulation methods of the pump without explosion-protection.3. Construction of the explosion-protection and pump-control electro-proportional speed-regulation system. Some study on construction-means of the electro-proportional control pump is made in depth. Based on analysis of the self-build pump's units and their principle and structure, the practical and mathematics model of the whole system are built. After that, some primary analysis is done, so that the system designed can be researched and improved in the future.4. The AMESim model of those main components and the electro-hydraulic proportional system is built. And many dynamic simulation researches are of the whole system to research the dynamic character of it. At the same time, performance of the brake system is simulated and analyzed.5. The colliery-cableway's testing platform is built. The hydraulic transmission systems are tested on the testing platform. It is proved that the electro-proportional speed-regulation system of pump control plays well in speed-regulating and controlling.
