The test object in the paper is a Media frequency conversion multi connected system in the office building in Xi'an university of Architecture and Technology. The curve which shows the temperature of refrigerant pipeline under different load is obtained. Based on the test result, the pressure drop in refrigerant pipeline and its influencing factors are calculated, and the measures to reduce pressure drop are proposed, which offers theoretical reference for the design of frequency conversion multi connected system.Besides, the temperature field of an office room with the frequency conversion multi-connected system in summer is tested, and it is compared with its corresponding in winter. The temperature field and velocity field in summer is also simulated with the help of CFD. Test showed that the temperature distribution is more uniform in summer, the temperature difference is small; while in winter, the temperature changes significantly. The simulated result agrees well with the tested ones, which shows that CFD is practical in actual projects. This paper is useful for the study of frequency conversion multi connected system. Besides, the temperature field and velocity field in the frequency conversion room is studied, which contributes to the study of thermal comfort, so as to offer reference for the reasonable arrangement of indoor unit.
