With the growing demand for comfort and energy saving in residential environment, to build a more precise control modle is absorbing growing concern. A suitable and aqurate dynamic modle for air-conditioning room is weighting heaviliy on energy saving and making a more comfortable residential environment.Combined with a residential WSHP (water sourse heat pump) system, this thesis made a research of the dynamic response of the air-conditioning room's thermal field during the start-up process of the fan coil unit. Computational fliud and thermal dynamic methods are used to build the mathematic model for target room. And the software—Fluent is used to simulate the heat conduction and convection of the air in air-conditioning room under different boundary condition and initial condition while the fan coil unit starts up. Following the lumped paramatric form, the dynamic response of the air-conditioning room during the process of the fan coil unit stats up is analyzed. And the formula which describes the relationship of the room's temperature and temporal variable is deduced. The dynamic response curves gained by simulation are used to gain the parameters of the formula.A correspondent experiment system is builted to research the dynamic response of the air-conditioning room during the process of the fan coil unit stats up. Test of the variation of the indoor-air temperature of the central air-conditioning system which uses the residential WSHP as cooling or heating source is made during the experiment. The results of the experiment prove the accuracy of the numerical simulation.Results of this research shows that:the numercical model used in this research can precisely predict the air flow and heat exchange in air-conditioning room; setting proper point as respresentation of hole room can make the air-conditioning room as a lumped parametric system; the dynamic response charactors while the air-conditioning room's start up process are closely relate to wether the instrument is used as heater or chiller and to the capacity of the terminal device.
