Towed guns, as the main weaponry equipment of artillery, are huge in quantity. Due to frequent operation and application, tear and wear is inevitable, which will be worsened along with the continuation of service time. If they are not properly kept and maintained, the wearing speed of the mechanical parts will increase definitely. Tear and wear of the key parts of the gun pieces will not only shorten the gun service life but also result in operational malfunctions so as to reduce their operating reliability and combat strength. Furthermore, improper handling will inflict operation safety, even personnel death. In light of the above status quo, it is quite imperative to design and develop an expert system of malfunction diagnosis to ensure the guns always in good technical conditions.This essay, according to the gun structure and the functional characteristics, divides the gun into 11 key parts. By means of wearing mechanism analysis, it summarizes the changing principle of the tear and wear of the mechanical parts resulting from the outside causes. Being geared to the various worn-out defections and outside causes, a comprehensive analysis has been done to bring in a conclusion that the primary causes for tear and wear of the gun parts are corrosion, friction and adhesion. Moreover, reliability model of gun system has been established by use of the engineering theory of the reliability system on the basis of having analyzed the service life distribution rule of the subsystem of the key parts. Meanwhile, according to the gun maintenance characteristics and the conception chain of the gun system, an expression method has been proposed as regarding the knowledge of frame chassis and rule integration, which puts the structure, function attributes, operating features, malfunction diagnosis and handling of the maintenance part into one maintenance unit.This essay has developed an expert system of gun malfunction diagnosis by means of VC++ language, which, being characterized by the friendly human-machine interface, efficient deduction strategy, convenient and rapid knowledge acquisition means, can provide a variety of services such as malfunction inquiry, malfunction judgment, malfunction display, malfunction remarks, malfunction addition or deletion, cause analysis, resolving measures and help.Reasonable quantitative handling of the normal malfunctions has been dealt with by the gun malfunction diagnosis system, which will certainly prevent and reduce the tear and wear of the key parts, thus improving the gun reliability and the combat strength. |
