Television guidance is an important bench of the precision guidance and a passive guidance technology which track target according to the visible light reflected by the target. It has been greatly valued by each great country in the world, as better to be hidden, stronger ability of anti-interfering, higher accuracy of guidance, the ability to attack the vital parts of targets or small targets selectively, little incidental injury, and low cost. Thanks its high imaging precision, television guidance can implement accurate track and possessions the ability of anti-interfering with appropriate arithmetic. So the television guidance bombs are often used to attack the moving targets such as tanker and armored vehicles, and they also can be used to some static and high value targets which are far away such as airport runways, hangar, air defense position, command posts, power plants, bridges, oil tanks and so on. Due to the need of project, the TV viewing-aim & guidance system is designed to attack static objects in this dissertation.Nowadays the competition on the high technology in each country in the world is intense day after day, in modern warfare environment, the attacking side usually faces a strong air-defending fire, but there are mang shortcomings in the existing television guidance system such as difficulty to aim, not completely satisfied to guidance, using hign cost, and it's diffculty to meet the operatial needs, so people propose higher demands to the television guidance technology: higher and more stable tracking accuracy, more accurate, faster and more convenient viewing-aiming, lower cost, image data-link to give enemis the heaviest hammer at the lowest cost.Aiming at the first three instances and integrating the requirement of a designing project about television-guided arms, taking the advance of FPGA about the underlying parallel computing and DSP about high-level complex operation, a video processing circuit whose core is FPGA/DSP is designed in this dissertation to implant realize the complex practical observation capabilities and robust television-guided tracking algorithm without increasing the volume, cost and power consumption of guidance devices. The observation functions of television in this dissertation add such functions which can make the archer easier and quicker to aim targets in the more stable magnified image as eliminating image circumvolving, non-step focusing and magnified showing in opened-window. The integrated function of guidance and observation devices solves the problem of the inconsistencies between the observation pod and the television-guided munitions in the coordinate system, reduces the difficulty of the logistics bases to mount ammunition, and also reduces the fixed cost of the system. To improve the guidance accuracy and stability this article combines the contrast tracking, subtraction correlation tracking, multiplication related tracking, field motion analysis, and inertial guidance together to track. The quite satisfactory results has been achieved in the guided tracking simulation.
