With the rapid development of the national economy, the rapid growth of traffic volume, vehicle overloading, canalized traffic and other issues are increasingly prominent, making asphalt concrete pavement to face a severe test. A lot of asphalt pavement shortly after the completion can not meet the transport needs and the early damage is very obvious. Therefore, how to improve the surface quality and extend the life of the road is the main research problem.Admixing fibers into the asphalt mixture can improve the road performance of the asphalt mixture, thereby reducing road damage arising from the use and extending the service life of roads. Studying the high temperature stability cold crack resistance, water stability, fatigue properties and resilient modulus of pavement performance of asphalt mixtures with different types and dosage of fiber. Analyze and Research fiber asphalt pavement performance. The results show that:Dolanit fibers and Bonifibers fiber have good heat resistance, and lignin fibers have greater moisture and oil absorption. Fibers can improve the Marshall stability and high temperature stability of the asphalt mixture. Fibers can improve the water stability, low temperature crack resistance and fatigue life of asphalt mixture. at The low-temperature bending tensile strength and maximum bending strain of the fiber asphalt mixture are higher than the non-doped fiber asphalt mixture, having more compression strain energy. Dolanit fiber can prolong the fatigue life and improve the dynamic stability of the asphalt mix; lignin fibers can significantly improve the water stability of asphalt mixture, increase capacity of resistance to water damage of the road.
