Research On The Vehicle Traveling Data Recorder Of The Hev

The deficiency of petroleum resources and environmental pollution have been the two serious problems against the sustainable development of the automotive industry. Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) has been accepted world-widely as one of the most promising strategy to solve the two serious problems.But we must think the safety of driving car. As the rapid development of our national economy, the car is becoming more and more popular in our daily lives, and traffic accidents are also increasing very quickly, especially fatal traffic accidents among long-distance passenger cars, all these accidents do great damage to our lives and property. For this reason, vehicle traveling data recorder is widely used in developed countries. Through the use of vehicle traveling data recorder, we can restrict continuous driving, overspeed and other kinds of traffic peccancy. It is great benefit for improving of traffic saft and appraisal of traffic accidents. So now traffic control department of our country and police department etc. are making great effort to generalize the use of vehicle traveling data recorder to improve traffic control level of our country.This thesis researches the design conception based on embeded system and the compare of each function module, it also describes the last programme. Then defines the collect method and the circuit design of signal needed, after that, we design the nodal point of CAN communication, according to it, all driving information and energy flow status can be transfered. We can advice these messages to the driver by display interface according to the designed computer and LCD display system,then the driver can know the status of the car more visualized. At last, according to the software designed, the VTDR can record the wrong driving behaviour and notify the driver, it can also supply evidences to the after-analysis of accident reasons.
