Because of the factors that the material aging and the load increase, many structures of reinforced concrete have the problem which needs to reinforce. Carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP)with excellent resistance to erosion, high intensity and other characteristics is generally considered the most ideal patching material, pasting CFRP to building surface has become a widely used method of reinforcement at home and abroad. Therefore carrying on the numerical analysis of destruction process of CFRP reinforced steel concrete beam has very important project application value.Firstly, in the article the theoretical knowledge of reinforced concrete beams and the present apply situation are introduced briefly, reinforced concrete beam flexural capacity analysis model is also cited, and according to "Reinforcement Standard" calculated the allow-able bearing capacity when beams under four spots bending, obtained the conservative calcu-lations.Secondly, smeared crack models of SOLID65 element is used, regardless of the slip be-tween CFRP and concrete, between steel and concrete, analysis of limit supporting capacity and destruction process under these four circumstances:concrete beams and CFRP-reinforced concrete beam, reinforced concrete beam and CFRP-reinforced steel concrete beam. The computation results show that after CFRP reinforcement the beam's limit supporting capacity doubled, but there is a gap between destruction process and the experiment phenomenon. Finally, based on the principle of fracture mechanics, used fictitious crack model, take of the influencement of debonding damage between CFRP and concrete, slip damage between steel and concrete, brittle fracture destruction between concrete and concrete, used the nonlinear spring element COMBIN39'stiffness changes to simulate these three damage fac-tors and made comparison with experimental results. In the article also discussed the influ-ence of mesh scale, fracture energy of concrete, tensile strength of concrete, bonding strength of interface between CFRP and concrete, microcrack formation displacement of concrete to reinforcement beam's limit supporting capacity and destruction process. And proposed some forecasts and the tentative plan to the next step research work.
