China is an agricultural country with large population but short of land resources, Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy. For a long time, China,s rural serious blind fertilization, which not only lead to the waste of fertilizer but also caused serious environment pollution,threatening the quality and safety of agricultural products. Fertilization of soil testing is recognized at home and abroad more mature application of modern technology one of important measures to fully use and protection of land resources.With the popular computer technology and the broadeast of DigitalAghculture concept, computer is widely used in agriculture. WebGIS,the combination of GIS and Internet technology,not only with the function of GIS data and space analysis like Traditional GIS but also with the specially of function of data sharing,which provides a benign platform for the information of soil test for formulated fertilization publishing and sharing.This thesis fristly studies the features of WebGIS and the pressent situation of its application in the field of soil test for formulated fertilization study. On this basis,combining with the trend of Web technology, it studies the Architecture of WebGIS and the new technologies used in WebGIS development. Secondly,the enterprise edition of GISserver product published by ESRI are made in this dissertation. It studies the architecture and the key Technologies of the platform and analyzes the ArcGIS Server WebADF development framework in detail. At last, using C#,ASP.NET,ADO.NET and Ajax,the research built the Expert Decision System for Soil Testing and Fertilizer Recommendation base on WebGIS. the dissertation discussed physical architecture design,system function design,model for soil test for formulated fertilization build and spatial database design. It emphasizes the spatial database design and model for soil test for formulated fertilization build. The establishment of system realized included display, query, analysis, management functions also Provided technical support and assistant decision information to extend recommended fertilizer.
