Design And Implementation Of Recommended Fertilization System In Country Area Based On ArcGIS Engine

In order to improve farmer's income,the "Soil Test and Recommended Fertilization (STRF)" project has been carried on for 3 years.With the expanding and deepening of the project,a demand on the relevant materials of information,data and the plots rised rapidly as well as their management level.However,the basic data of STRF was still stored by paper,which caused the inefficient management of the data.As a result of the limitation of technology and financing,the progress of the recommended fertilization always accomplished by people's experience although they have been set "3414" experiment.The development of STRF project was very slowly by a lack of recommended fertilization expert system.Thinking of the fact of the project,the "Recommended Fertilization System" was developed by taking the country area for specific on the foundation of the existing production and technology of soil,fertilizer,crop experiment,computer software and so on,during which the secondary platform of "ArcGIS Engine" developed by ESRI was adopted.By the preliminary application of the "Recommended Fertilization System",the data generated in the project of STRF could be managed efficiently and an index of recommended fertilization precept on the scale of country area could be formed,through which the project of the STRF could be realized preferably.Main research works were carried out as follows:(1) The basic data state and data structure of STRF was deeply analyzed.Then the STRF system model was established by object-oriented method.Based on the model, basic database was constructed.(2)The STRF spatial database was established.GIS secondary development method during developing STRF system and the method to develop the STRF system in country area by ArcGIS Engine were discussed in the paper.(3)This paper researched the method of recommended fertilization in the scale of country area.Based on fertilization Knowledge Database and Model Database, "3414"experiment and other fertilizer effect experiments,a recommended fertilization expert system was made.The expert system has been practiced in some countries to offer fertilization suggestions.
