The Research On Evaluation Of Forest Ecosystem Services And Functions In The Czx Region

The CZX Region, which is located in the "central area" of Hunan, is of political, economic and cultural center in Hunan province. It is good for many aspects to research on the evaluation of forest ecosystem services and functions, not only can change people's awareness, ensure ecological security, achieve all the efficiency of the forest ecosystem that in the economic, ecological and social field, but also can provide a scientific basis for regional policy formulation and implementation, and rational allocation of resources. Therefore, the study has important significance on the two types of social construction.This paper reviewed the Forest Ecosystem Services Assessment, and assessed value of the forest ecosystem services and functions, which used the evaluation index system provided by "assessments of forest ecosystem services specification" (LY/T 1721-2008), that is released by the State Forestry.Administration. And attempted to guide the management of forest ecosystem, protection and rational use, achieved sustainable forest management and provided a theoretical basis and scientific way.Followings are the main results:(1) The value which provided by the forest ecosystem of CZX Region is004.59×108/a and￥74167.81/hm2·a, that will continue to increase. In all the services, Water conservation> Carbon fixation and oxygen released> Species conservation> Soil Conservation> Atmosphere environmental purification> nutrient accumulation> forest recreation, and the first three services are the main functions of the forest ecosystem in the CZX Region, which is Y861.72×108/a,85.78% of the total value; In different forest types, Pine> Broadleaf forest> Fir> Bamboo> Economic Forest, and coniferous forest which is the CZT region's major forest types, provided￥517.35×108/a,51.41% of the total value; Without considering the circumstances, Broad-leaved forest> Bamboo> Pine> Economic Forest> Fir, and broad-leaved forest and bamboo have stronger ability to provide service functions, which are￥104687.66/hm2·a and￥82611.28/hm2·a. As the area is small, it limits the total value of its services.(2) In order to improve the relationship between ecology and economic development, the author also made recommendations in five areas, such as management and protection of forest resources and construction, forest structure, compensation mechanism, forest eco-tourism and universal awareness of ecological protection. By strengthening management, that will play a full role to the CZX Region, and further enhance the value of their ecological benefits.This study concluded the value of the forest ecosystem services in the CZX Region, making it no longer abstract and more specific. After a reasonable value scales of the forest ecosystem services, people will have correct understanding to it and carry on rational management and protection, lay the foundation for sustainable use and sustainable development.
