As the mainstay of forest ecosystems and the foundation of forestry industry, Forest plays an increasingly important role in improving the environment and promote sustainable development of society.Forest resources,which supports life on Earth, is an important part of state-owned resources and national wealth. How to measure the status of forest resources, monitoring changes in the dynamic systems, analysis and evaluates of forest resources'quantity, quality, distribution and health etc. the development trend is expected to become its urgent task.As the the forest resources and the information resources become richer in content and more plentiful in type, there gradually arise a urgent need and extreme difficulty of information sharing. On the one hand, all social circles bear stronger needs of forest resources information sharing;On the other hand, a large number of data users are suffering from seeking those data can be used.Sometimes the data owners or data storage address are known,however,the obtained data cannot really use because of differences in data format.In order to bring the forest resources information into full play in scientific research,and realize the sharing and interoperation of forest resources_information, scientific researchers keep on exploring and constructing a technical bridge between forest resources information sharing and interoperation.The paper Summarizes the research situation and development trend of dynamic monitoring of urban forest resources at home and abroad.Under the guidance of systems science, ecology, forest science and information theory,it in-depth studies socio-economic, geographical and urban forestry status of Guangzhou City.In order to constract Guangzhou into the sustainable development of the landscape metropolis,meet the the needs of monitoring of forest resources, use of geographic information Integration, remote sensing, global positioning systems, computer technology, wireless communication technology and mathematical methods, the following studies are made issues such as Guangzhou City's forest resources oversight, forecast,and management Information systems etc. (1) Elaborate the feasibility of establishing forest resources dynamic monitoring system which based on information-sharing in Guangzhou, point out technology and management infrastructure of the dynamic monitoring system,.(2) Set force the whole process of dynamic changes of growth and decline of forest resources which caused by operating activities and non-business activities,and shape a detailed report card on forest resources changes.(3) Standing in Guangzhou's position,it sets up a suitable mathematical forest growth model, according to the biological theory of the growth equation, makes a forecast to Guangzhou's forest resources growth amount, to grasp the dynamics of forest resources.(4) In describing the dynamic process of forest resources in general, based on the definition of a data update, described the data update non-smallest unit of the two modes, select the data to update the program.
