Establishment Of Forest Resources Data Update And Afforestation Project Management System

Forest resources data is the foundation of the forest resources information management. The timely and accurate updating in forest resource data can ensure the accuracy and authentic of the forest resources data. The authenticity of the forest resources data is the base of forestry production. this study used computer integrated technology built the Forest Resources Data Update System(FRDUS) and Afforestation Projects Management System(APMS) based on Forest Management Information Platform(FMIP).The study carried out the overall design of the system based on the analysis of the demand of FRDUS and APMS. the system design, including system structure design, software system division, database design and development&operation environment design is the blueprint of the system establishment and realization.FRDUS used annual dynamic data to update forest resource database in the forest resource data updating system, implementing the goal of forest resource dynamic management at the county level. The paper analyzed and described the change reasons of forest resource information management with the concept of change affair. Those change affairs which resulted in subcompartment data changing were coded. And then Spatio-temporal database structure of forest resource subcompartment data change was designed in the paper. Furthermore, the paper studied the data storage of Chinese Fir and Masson Pine stand growth model and broadleaved tree growth ratio, and subcompartments data updating process and specifications, designing updating system functions.APMS carried out intelligentize of afforestation working area selection, specialization of afforestation mode design and informationization of project management in the process of the practice and management of afforestation. The paper described the design and management content of afforestation project in detail and gave the flow chart of afforestation project management. After that, the general system functions and afforestation project database were designed. The functions of spatial analysis and query selection with afforestation region (working area), checking in and out of working inventory, afforestation technique mode design, afforestation project management were discussed in detailed and main algorithms and key coeds were given in the paper.This study provide the implementation process and procedure for building PDA field investigation system based on ArcPad, also offers two method to realize the field data checkin&checkout, and integrate the function of checkin&checkout to the Forest Management Information Platform(FMIP) used ArcPad Manager dynamic library.
