Pseudorabies Gene Deletion Vaccine Sa215 Immune Sows, Piglets Maternal Antibodies Population Fluctuation And The First Free-day-old

To determine the date of initial immunity for the piglet with pseudorabies virus colostral antibodies.25 piglets were obtained from three sows that had been inoculated intramuscularly before mating and 2 weeks before farrowing with PRV gE/gLK-deleted vaccine SA2 15.9 piglets served as the rule of the rise and fall of colostral antibodies when they were 7,14,21,30and 60 days old by SPA-ELISA.Al1 of the nine piglets showed the fall law of colostral antibodies with the time,average antibodies titres were 2(7 days old) and 22.56(60 days old). 15 piglets were immunized with strain SA215 when they were 7,14,21,30 and 60 days old,average antibodies titres of 7,14 and 21 days old were slight fall over the same period and titres of 30 and 60 days old were big range rising inoculated 7 days later. To examine the safety of strain SA2 15 for pregnant sows,using Dot-blot hybridization to test 13 tissues specimen from 1 newborn before first milking. The negative result indicated that strain SA2 15 did not transmit through transplacenta.
