Sugarcane Harvester Virtual Design Platform Based On Pdm Integration With I-deas

Product Data Management (PDM) is a new industry technology to manage all product-related information and processes. Because of its powerful functions, it is becoming one of the most popular implemented industry technologies. With reference to many PDM-related papers, a research and implementation of the Interface of PDM and CAD system (I-DEAS) is studied in this paper. This paper is studied in combination with the project of Chinese Nature Sciences Fund and Guangxi Sci-Tech Key-Project in Visual Virtual Design Platform for Sugarcane Harvester.Firstly, this paper formulizes the PDM-related principle and basic concept of PDM and analyses the technology schemes of PDM, and then an integration scheme between the Virtual Design Platform for Sugarcane Harvester suitable to hilly country and CAD system (I-DEAS) is brought forward. Secondly, this paper analyses the implementation method of Integration Scheme. And then, the flow diagram of the implementation method of Integration Scheme. The integration function is realized based on the implementation method of Integration Scheme. In addition to, this paper analyses key technologies in implementation of Integration Scheme.This paper is associated with the building and perfection of Integration Design Platform for Sugarcane Harvester. After analyses the desideration and functions of Integration Platform, the integration function of SmarTeam and I-DEAS is realized. A highly efficiency development platform for the sugarcane harvester is provided.
