A Research On PDM-based 4CP Integrated Design Platform Of Sugarcane Harvesters

Sugarcane harvesters are conducive to the promotion of harvest efficiency as well as the reduction of labor intensity and production cost. However, in developing and producing sugarcane harvesters, prompt solution is badly demanded to integrate data from the indispensable computer-assistant tools, such as CAD, CAE, CAPP and CAM. Working with National Natural Science Fund Projects and Guangxi Key Science and Technology Projects, this paper conducts a major research on data integration, and applies a PDM integrated tool to study and develop 4CP integrated platform of sugarcane harvesters. An integrated tool of SmarTeam system is adopted for the integration research on data collected from CAD, CAE, CAPP and CAM.Data integration is the primary content of this paper. This paper adopts integrated tools of SmarTeam to integrate data from CAD CAE CAPP CAM system. At the first the paper proposes a general functional structure of integrated platform and analyzes the main functions of its sub-modules. Based on these functions, working flows of sub-modules and their procedures are designed, and integration of integrated platform and intelligence design is programmed by means of programming tools and SQL Server 2000 database technology. The paper finally illustrates the setup and the application of 4CP integrated platform of sugarcane harvesters.The development and application of 4CP integrated platform of sugarcane harvesters is of great importance for integrating data in technological design, analysis and production of sugarcane harvesters. It ensures data consistence in transmitting and exploits fully the existing successful products. Besides the idea of this integrated platform and its programme can be used in design of other complex mechanical machine, and we have applied knowledge droit for it, and the application is being conducted.
