Forest is the main body of our land-ecosystem. Sustainable management is the only way of forest sustainable development. There are 4200 state-owned-forest-farms in our country, the whole area is 5,600 million hectares, and the total volume is about 16100 million cubic meters. These state-run-forest-farms are mostly distributed in the source of the great rivers and middle and upper reaches area, they will be not only the basic place of timber-producing, but also become ecological balance keeping and the important area of ecological environment improving, However, it has backbone's-demonstrating and radiation function to launch forest sustainable management study.The Paper overviewed the research on sustainable management of forest., Based on the data of the later forest management inventory and sample plot, combine abundant material of social investigation, the author used many kinds of methods and research means to analyzing four major respect: ecology, economy, society and management of DaLaoLing forest-farm, the author have done one appraisal and one adjustment as follow.Appraisal: Point out the sustainable-development-ability of DaLaoLing forest farm is 7.131, as a whole of forest, DaLaoLing forest-farm is sustainable, but on the aspect of economy, society, management level, it is still in a situation of low-level, and the detail reason has been analyzed in detail in this thesis.Adjustment: Proposed the adjustment-countermeasure according to the needs of forest sustainable management, based on the changes of forestry responsible institution, striping the social function. Innovatively proposed a new management organization system in the state-owned-forest farm. And has carried on corresponding system innovation. On the basis of classifying and manage, set up different management and utilize system. Respectively according to the public-benefit-forest, merchantable-forest, and concrete Adjustment management measure have been put forward.
