It has a strong seasonal harvest of silk cocoons. So timely pupa killing and drying handling are asked for the post-harvest fresh cocoons. Traditional cocoon's baking methods cycle are long, while it have low productivity and difficult to control, therefore, it is gradually fail to adapt the productive growing needs and developing requirements.Construction of the silk cocoons is special, the cocoon layer surround chrysalis body, but the cocoon layer's moisture content is low, and pupa body is wet. The main purpose of cocoon chrysalis drying is to remove the redundant water from silkworm body. Currently, the course of hot air drying is much time-consuming usually cost about 5 hours and the thermal efficiency is low. However, the microwave silk drying method can greatly shorten the drying time while without reducing of the quality of silk cocoons. Because the rate of water contain of cocoon chrysalis body is up to 82% in its internal layer, and the chrysalis body's surface has got several D quality frames, so it impede the evaporation of water. The result of the situation is chrysalis body's excessive pressure and it leading to the phenomenon of "spray detonation" and dye cocoon. Therefore, it is necessary to study towards the way that powder adjustment of microwave drying system.There are two kinds of ways to adopt to the microwave power at present. Last work intermittence by way , be worked in the form of pulsate magnetron, open compared with the time to shut off last work magnetron than, it is at work been average for electric current in and magnetron for direct radio than,so can through controlling by the not turning on last time of magnetron, and then control and changing the output size of the average powerAt present the way which uses regarding the microwave power regulation has two kinds. One is the intermittence-type adjust power way, another kind is the continuous-type adjust power way. The intermittence-type adjust power way, the magnetron is by the pulsation form work, through controls the magnetron to open breaks the time, then control and changing the output size of the average power. The continuous type adjusts the merit way is through the fine adjustment anode voltage thus the change and the stable output size. The present paper separately designed the continuous type to adjust the merit and the intermittent type adjusts the merit the microwave to dry the cocoon test equipment, the intermittence -like accent merit system has made the improvement to the traditional microwave oven accent merit way, it operated simply, the power regulation scope was bigger than the existing microwave oven, its shortcoming was the power regulation not continuously, the power output had the pulsation, was drying the cocoon process the initial period still not to be able to avoid the phenomenon of " spray detonation " production.
