Chinese Cranes And Geographical Distribution And In Situ Conservation,

Study on the distribution,migration routes and on site protection of cranes in China,on the basis of analyzing the materials,local fauna and scientific research report of Nature Reserve which has cranes residing in.Distribution maps of Nature Reserve is drawn using Arcview,piling up these layers we get the distribution core of cranes in China.According to the Criteria for Identifying Important Nature Reserve which protects cranes,we get 39 Nature Reserves which should be invested in mainly now.Aimming at solving the problems in on site protection work of cranes,we bring forward several countermeasures.The results of the paper as follows:(1)China has the most crane species in the world of 9 crane species.But Sarus Crane has been disappeared in China,Sandhill crane is sawn occasionally.Red-crowned Crane,Hooded Crane,White naped Crane,Black-necked Crane,Common Crane and Demoiselle Crane are breeding in China; Summer populatin of Siberain White Crane was found at Tu muji Nature Reserve in Mongolia,but it need to prove whether it is breeding in China.From the distribution maps of cranes, Red-crowned Crane, Siberain White Crane,Hooded Crane, White naped Crane are at the east part of China; Demoiselle Crane is at north of Himalayas-Crossing mountains-Qin mountain-Huai River; Black-necked Crane Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its nearby;Common Crane has been recorded in China,except Guangxi,Guangdong,Fujian,Taiwan,Hainan Provices. The distribution core of cranes as follows:①North-East Wetland District: including Sanjiang Plain area,Xingkai Lake area,Nenjiang-Wuyur River area of Hei Longjiang Province;Taor River,Huolin River area of Jilin Province;Hui River area, and Dalinuor area of Mongolia;②Seashore Wetland District:including around Bohai wetland area(Liao Dong bay of Liaoning Province;Beidai River,Luan River estuary,Nanda Harbor Wetland of Hebei Province;Yellow River Delta of Shandong Province);Seashore Wetland of Jiangsu Province;③Middle and Lower Reaches of Yellow River: including Three River wetland of Sanxi Province,Yuncheng wetland of Shanxi Province,Ancient Road of Yellow River and Sanmen Gorge Bottomland in Henan Province;④Middle and Lower Reaches of Changjiang River:including Dongting Lake of Hunan Province,Poyang Lake of Jiangxi Province,Lakes along Yangtze River in Anhui Province.Besides,There are three species of cranes(Black-necked Crane,Common Crane and Demoiselle Crane)in the west part of China, distribution cores of these cranes are Bayanbuluk Lake of Xinjiang municipality,Qinghai Lake and Sanjiangyuan in Qinghai Province,Zoige wetland of Sichuan Province,Yarlungzangbo River and its reaches Nianchu River,Lhasa Rivesr in Tibet,North-West and North-East of Yunnan Province,Caohai...
