The polymorphisms of cGH gene intron 1 MspI site and cGHR gene intron 2 HindIII site in Guizhou Yellow Chicken, Dwarf Yellow Chicken and Xingyi Dwarf Chicken were inspected by PCR-RFLP. And the relationships between genotypes and production performances were analyzed in this thesis. Following is the main results.1,There was polymorphisms at GH gene intron 1 PCR-RFPL-MspI in those three strains, including A, B,C three alleles and AA, BB, CC, AB, AC five genotypes. The frequencies of genotypes and alleles were different in those three strains.2,The genotype of GH gene has some effect on chicken's production performances. In Guizhou Yellow Chicken and male Xingyi Dwarf Chicken, BB genotype individuals had lest body weight and AA and AC genotypes had most body weight. There is no significant difference in Dwarf Yellow Chicken and female Xingyi Dwarf Chicken. Besides, there is some linkage between GH genotype and the percentage of abdominal fat Individuals with BB genotype have smaller body size and less abdomen fat, and AA and AC genotype chicken have bigger body size and more abdomen fat.3,There were B and C alleles of GHR gene intron 2 PCR-RFLP-HindIII only in Xingyi Dwarf Chicken. And B allele dose not exist in Guizhou Yellow Chicken and Dwarf Yellow Chicken.4,In male Xingyi Dwarf Chicken, chicken with BC genotype of GHR gene weighed most; and there is no significant difference in female Xingyi Dwarf Chicken. The average shank length of female Xingyi Dwarf Chicken with B(W) genotype is shortest, and no significant difference was found in male Xingyi Dwarf Chicken. The percentages of abdominal fat weight were higher in BB male and B(W) female chicken than in any other genotype chicken, and BC male and C(W) female chicken had lest abdomen fat.
