Study On Characteristics And Ulyrastructure Of Hair Coat In Tianzhu White Yak

Different physical and chemical performance as well as structure of hair fiber determined its textile ability and selection for processing craflwork.Therefore,as for in the round and by the numbers studying physical characteristics,chemical structure and ultrastructure of hair coat in Tianzhu white yak,this not only is meaning to utilize rationally the resources of hair coat in Tianzhu white yak but also very important to improve the textile industry in our country and select textile performance and processing craftwork for hair coat in Tianzhu white yak.20 white yaks from 1 to 7 years old were randomly selected from nucleus population at breeding experiment farm for Tianzhu white yak in Zhuaxixiulong.The samples tested were hair that growed in one year on the thigh,back,shoulder,body side and abdomen.The tested content was as follows.To analyze configuration and fibre type of hair coat in Tianzhu white yak;to study the physical and chemical performance of hair coat in Tianzhu white yak;to study the ultrastructure of hair coat in Tianzhu white yak.At the same time,4 samples of skirt hair in a year and cercus in 2 years of adult yaks as well as the hair of women at about 30 years old were collected respectively.All index of the samples were determined by comparing.The results indicated.(1) As for physical characteristics of hair coat in Tianzhu white yak at different age,there was very marked difference in content of all kinds of fibre (P＜0.01).the content of floss and heterotypical hair dropped off with the age rising,the shag increased with the age rising.The fineness of different fibre increased with the age rising.The length,strength and extension rate all increased with the age rising,in addition,at the age of 3 to 4 years,the trend increasing of above index slowed or reduced.At the age of 7 years,the index began to decrease obviously.There was very marked difference in fineness, length and extension rate of fibre at different age.(P＜0.01).there was not marked difference in strength(p＞0.05).There was very marked difference in fineness,strength and extension rate of heterotypical hair.(P＜0.01),while there was not marked difference in length(p＞0.05).There was very marked difference in fineness and strength of the shag.(P＜0.01), while there was marked difference in strength(P＜0.01),while there was not marked difference in length(p＞0.05).(2) as for the physical characteristics of hair coat on different part of body in Tianzhu white yak,there was very marked difference in the content of all kinds of fibre(P＜0.01),there was the least floss on the abdomen and most on the body side. The shag was most on the abdomen and least on the body side.The heterotypical hair was least on the shoulder and most on the thigh.As far as all kinds of fibre on the body side was concerned,the fineness was least,the length,rupture strength of single fibre and rupture extension were huge,especially,the quality of floss was good.The fibre on the back was short and its quality was poor.The floss on the shoulder was fine,while the length was short. The quality of shag on the abdomen was best.There was very marked difference in the fineness and extension rate of fibre of different parts(P＜0.01),the difference of the strength and length was not marked(p＞0.05).the difference of the fineness for heterotypical hair was marked(P＜0.05),there was very marked difference in the length,strength and extension rate of heterotypical hair(P＜0.01).the difference of the fineness for the shag was not marked(p＞0.05),there was very marked difference in the length,strength and extension rate of the shag(P＜0.01).(3) the chemical structure of different age and fiber type was same,while the content was a little different.(4) the ultrastructure e of the different fiber type was different.(5) physical and chemical index of hair coat in Tianzhu white yak and women was similar,their ultrastructure was similar.
