The inbred strain of DDK mice were breeded by Japanese from a kind of Germanic mice which attribute the M.m.domesticus subspecific, and it shows a unique property known as "DDK syndrome":the DDK males can normally fertilize the females of other strains like in the same strain,while the females of DDK strain are nearly infertile when crossed to males of other strains, owing to the F1 embryos failure of blastocyst formation between 3-5 days after pregnancy. Studies supported that the polar infertile characteristic is caused by an incompatibility between the cytoplamic materials in DDK oocyte and sperm factors in other strains,they were all controlled by an allele of Om locus which has been mapped om mouse Chromosome 11.Before 2002,the studies on "DDK syndrome"were focused on the subspecific of domesticus,while Zhao(2002) used the hybrid between different subspecific inbred mice,analyzed the date of phenotype and genotype and founded among DDK,MOM and CASP strains which were originated from European,Japanese and Philippine respectively,not existed the incompatibility between the oocyte cytoplamic materials and sperm factors."The finding has broken the traditional study mode of "DDK syndrome"which reported by American scholar.Refer to the provious study of Zhao(2002),while we used the DDK strain and PWK strain to explore the compatible relationship between the PWK oocyte cytoplamic materials and DDK sperm factors,and finished the compatible relationship map among the four kinds of subspecific.We analyzed the datas of phenotype and genotype,the results are as followed:1.The analysis of phenotype:analysis the propagate ability of PWK female mated with DDK male and F1 mice.The result indicated that the propagates are normal among PWK♀×DDK♂and PWK♀×F1(DDK♀×PWK♂)♂,compared with the results of Zhao(2002),we confirmed that PWK oocyte and DDK sperm are compatible, and has a hereditary.2.The analysis of genotype:the compatible crosses of theory transmitted rate on Om locus are 50 to 50,which is conformed with the theory,there are no differences with the studies of Zhao(2002).Therefore,we also confirmed PWK oocyte cytoplamic materials and DDK sperm factors are compatible from the genotype.According to the results,we confirmed that PWK oocyte cytoplamic materials and DDK sperm factors are compatible.
