| Objective:Research the the different effects between the surgical treatment of varicose veins of lower extremity by and the surgical treatment of varicose veins of lower extremity by minimally invasive rotary varicotomy with traditional Chinese medicine.Research the advantages and disadvantages of minimally invasive rotary varicotomy and the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine for postoperative complications by minimally invasive rotary varicotomy by observing surgeries, complications and postoperative recovery. Methods:We adopt the patients varicose veins of lower extremity which receive hospital care in Peripheral vascular disease Branch of the Second Hospital of Shandong University, from January 2009 to November 2009.Record their general situation, observ the the time of the operation, number and length of the incision, the postoperative complications of the third day after operation, as well as wound infection and healing. Set up the database by using the software SPSS13.0, software using a database, statistically analyse the data, and get the result. Results:There was no significant difference in comparison between the groups on gender and preoperative limb. Conventional surgical treatment group has the longest timeof hospitalization, the minimally invasive rotary varicotomy with traditional Chinese medicine treatment group has the shortest timeof hospitalization. On the time of operation, the number and length of the incision there was significant differenceBetween the conventional surgical treatment group with the minimally invasive rotary varicotomy treatment group and the minimally invasive rotary varicotomy with traditional Chinese medicine treatment group (P<0.01). There were more cases with hematoma and ecchymosis and less cases with subcutaneous induration, swelling and numbness of the surgical limb. The minimally invasive rotary varicotomy with traditional Chinese medicine treatment group has the last incidence of the postoperative complications. There was one case with infection and two cases with nonunion in the minimally invasive rotary varicotomy treatment group. Conclusion:Minimally invasive rotary varicotomy has the advantages of shorter operative time, smaller and less surgical incision, while the hematoma and ecchymosis is more than conventional surgical treatment group. The use of traditional Chinese medicine can be effective in reducing hematoma, ecchymosis and subcutaneous, but for the swellingand numbness of the surgical limb with short-term efficacy, which has significant therapeutic effect with long-term efficacy. |
