Flos Lonicerae is the dried flower and bud of Lonicera japonica used as a Chinese herb in clinics, which have the bioactivities of heat-clearing, detoxicating, bebugging wint-heat and so on. The traditional and modern separation analysis methods combined with in vitro antioxidant evaluation method of DPPH and FRAP, the different extracts and different components'antioxidant activity were evaluated. According to UPLC fingerprint and antioxidant activity test, "spectrum-effect" combination to analyse the role of antioxidant activity from the chemical compositions. The results showed that the main antioxidant components were two compounds with peaks time for 4.44,5.14min and they were the isochlorogenic acid compounds according to preliminary judgement.We established different origin Lonicera japonica Thunb. and Lonicera macrathoides Hand Mazz. chemical fingerprint by UPLC. Evaluating the similarity of fingerprints used as the yardstick, calibration peaks, its control fingerprint was established. Common model as a reference, by "traditional Chinese medicine fingerprint similarity calculation software version 2004A ", calculated results by simulation of chromatographic fingerprint pattern and the similarity evaluation. Cluster analysis of fingerprints of 20 samples were divided into two categories:the first class medicine mainly were Lonicera japonica Thunb, Lonicera Macrathoides Hand. Mazz. were the second category.To produce in the main producing areas of honeysuckle herbs for the study, we measured the thermal spectrum under the conditions of E. coli at 37℃under normal conditions and under honeysuckle by the micro-calorimeter. we obtained a series of thermodynamic parameters by the kinetic model.The principal component analysis, honeysuckle thermal spectrum of the first exponential phase growth rate constant K1, the first exponential growth phase peak time T1 and the second exponential growth phase of the maximum heat power P2 is particularly important in the expression of biological differences on the overall thermal activity. The three parameters and chemical fingerprint for correlation analysis, the results showed that different areas of biological honeysuckle were mainly affected by the strength of thermal activity fingerprints in the 3,8,9 peaks.In this study, a new approach was provided for the research of Chinese medicine effective substance, about conventional chemical, biological, chemical or thermal pharmacology combining "spectrum-effect" relationship study to find the efficacy, effectiveness of the active substance and material basis, to promote the development of Chinese medicine in China.
