Objectives:To observe the expression of NGB in the brain tissue of perihemotoma in Intracerebral Hemorrhage(ICH) patients, study the roal of NGB in secondary injury of the brain and investigate into the relationship among Excess and Prostration syndromes, the expression of NGB,volume of blood tumor, scores of NIHSS and GCS.To provide the molecular biology standard for the microcosmic syndrome differentiation with TCM to quest for new treatment.Materials and methods:28 patients with ICH recollected and divided into three groups:YIN excess group, YANG excess group and Prostration group. All were accord with the diagnosing points of ICH and must be able to be diagnosed as one of the syndromes based on the differentiation standards of TCM and undergone surgical operation, among which 14 were male and 14 were female. The age was(61.18±8.86) years, the course of disease was 6(4-9) h(nonnormal distribution).YANG excess patients was 13,among which 7 were male and 6 were female. The age was(62.31±10.71) years, the course of disease was(6.85±3.41) h.YIN excess patients was 8,among which 4 were male and 4 were female. The age was(60.00±7.45) years, the course of disease was(6.75±3.92) h.Prostration Patients was 7,among which 3 were male and 4 were female. The age was(60.43±7.32) years, the course of disease was (7.00±3.83) h.6 normal brain tissue were taken as normal control group. We collected the perihematomal brain tissue in the course of evacuation of hematoma in ICH group. The NIHSS and GCS was used to score, the DUOTIAN formula to calculate the hemorrhage volume, the NGB expression was detected with Western blotting method.Results:1.The expression of NGB in the Pefi-hematomal brain region of ICH Patients decreased in comparison with the normal control group(P<0.01).2.The expression of NGB showed obvious negative correlation with the hematoma volume,NIHSS score(P<0.01),and positive correlation with the GCS score(P<0.01).3.The expression of NGB was different among YIN excess,YANG excess and the prostration syndromes(P<0.01);The expression of YANG excess was the highest,YIN excess second, prostration syndrome last. 4.The hematoma volume,The scores of NIHSS and GCS were different among YIN excess,YANG excess and the Prostration syndromes in ICH(P<0.01 or P<0.05).For the volume and the NIHSS scores, prostration syndrome was the first,YANG excess second, YIN excess last. But the order of GCS scores was opposite.Conclusion:1.The expression rate of NGB in the Peri-hematomal brain region of ICH patients decreased in comparison with the normal control group(P<0.01).The expression of NGB was negative correlation with the tumor volume and NIHSS score, was positive correlation with GCS score.the lower the expression of NGB,the more severe of the disease, however,it suggests that NGB may act as protective substance, which can be cognitive of hypoxia, protect the neuron and may be an important molecular mechanism in nerve protection.2.The NGB level maybe provides the molecular biology standard for the microcosmic syndrome differentiation with TCM.Combining the expression of NGB in brain tissue with the volume of bleeding,GCS and NIHSS score maybe provide the molecular biology standard for the microcosmic syndrome differentiation with TCM in ICH patients.3.Both the excess and prostration syndromes in ICH could reflect the degree of brain impairment.4.The study showed:Further study of the role of NGB may be helpful in discovering new therapy in the treatment of nervous lesion secondary to the ICH,for example, the NGB targeted therapy.
