This essay intends to make a systematic comparative study of "De/No Structure" which is one of the most important structure of Chinese "De" and Japanese "No" mainly from the syntactic, semantic and pragmatic perspectives and tries to explain the emergence of these differences by adopting relative theories of Cognitive Linguistics. And this research in based on the results of previous studies.This article consists of two parts. In the first part, the writer will elaborate their structural composition of "De/No Structure" and compare the different and similar impact of "De/No" in these structures. The writer will base on the reference of the composition of "De Structure" in Chinese, then the writer divide the structural composition into five parts:"NP+De/No", "AP+De/No", "VP+De/No", "Subjest-Predicate Structure+De/No" and "NP+case particles+の", and analyze the syntactic function of each part and the different effect of "De/No"in these parts. In the second part, the writer will explain how these similarities and differences generate according to relative theories of Cognitive Linguistics. The writer will illuminate the essential difference between Chinese and Japanese from the frameworks of Subjective construal and metonymy.
