A Study On The Relationship Between Wang Anshi And Vimalakirti-nrdesa-sutra,surangma-samadhi-sutra

This thesis tries to make a research on the basis of the relationship between Wang Anshi and Vimalakirti-nrdesa-Sutra,Surangma-samadhi-sutra, in light of quoting sutras belonging to the two sutras in Wang Anshi's poetry. Basing on carding and applying basis material'previousresearch, it integrates the macrostructure with microanalysis. This thesis puts an emphasis on the relatonship between Wang Anshi and Vimalakirti-nrdesa-Sutra,Surangma-samadhi-sutra,it also deepens the relationship between Wang Anshi and Buddhism.Under the blending of the Confucianists and Buddhists'background, Buddhism had a remarkable impact on Wang Anshi. He contacted with many monks,readed Tripitaka,made commentary on sutras. Especially on his old age's poetry style, he had the closest relationship with Vimalakirti-nrdesa-Sutra,Surangma-samadhi-sutra. At the same time,he was affected deeply by the two sutras. There are two concrete aspects indicating the influence which Vimalakirti-nrdesa-Sutra had on Wang Anshi. At first, Vimalakirti-nrdesa-Sutra had influence on Wang Anshi's philosophy of life. The second, this philosophy of life had a remarkable impact on his old age's poetry style that is solemn style in leisure style. There are two concrete aspects indicating the influence which Surangma-samadhi-sutra had on Wang Anshi. Firstly, the learning of mental-nature of Surangma-samadhi-sutra had an important effect on his writing psychology that was'n selfless. Secondly, this sutra played a very important role in the formation of his old age's poetry style which the mind and the nature agree with each other.
