Children's discovery and the creation of children's literature is a historic process of social construction. The development of the opinions about Chinese children and children's literature in the early twentieth century was carried out by the interactivity, what is composed of social powers and social values, under a particular social environment. We can see it is a process of adult community's self-reflection and self-reconstruction, through study the evolution of the opinions about Chinese children and children's literature in the last years of Qing Dynasty, the early years in Republic of China and the May 4th.
