This article looks into the present development situation of TCFL, analyzing and discussing the current development of TCFL both home and abroad, exploring various problems that exist in TCFL teaching and management, and thus proposed appropriate solutions according to these problems. Among them, how to improve the quality of classroom teaching is a key issue. The solutions to this problem include teaching methodology, classroom operations and other aspects, among which using games to aid Chinese language teaching is of great significance to improve teaching effectiveness. After getting access to the existing research materials, the theory of happiness in classroom teaching at home and abroad comes into a basic shape. After collecting, studying and researching into relative theoretical research about this issue, and after conducting a series of comparison between theoretical analysis and operational practice, this paper focuses on how to carry out rational use of games in TCFL in higher education to improve teaching quality and improve the effectiveness of teaching. After a series of practical application of teaching games, through studying, exploring, modifying and perfecting the usage of games according to the specific circumstances encountered in practice, this paper combined the application and result together, and summed up different games suitable for the different teaching contents like voice, character, vocabulary and grammar. This paper dealt with the case study of these different games, made brief introduction about their operation, and demonstrated the different teaching results. After such case study, the usage of games in TCFL classroom can have a thorough summary and conclusion, which makes great contribution to the improvement of teaching result in higher education, and helps improve its future application.
