This paper investigates and analyses the exercises of the elementary Chinese textbooks, based on a study of 3 different types of Chinese textbooks, including the exercises in 48 texts. The author analyzes the frequency of word recurrence in the exercises and summarizes the frequency of word recurrence in exercises.It is pointed out that the exercise is very important for foreign students to study Chinese characters and words. So it is helpful to put forward some suggestions on how to improve the exercise design.This can make a higher frequency of word recurrence and improve the Chinese character learning of foreign students. |
